Over 350 students from PES and PMHS formed a red ribbon Tuesday morning on the field between the schools. A National Gurd helicopter captured pictures from the air. These pictures were taken from the gym roof.
The work of over 150 Pittsfield Elementary artists was on display at the Deerfield Fair last weekend. Pittsfield placed third out of 18 elementary schools that displayed are at the fair.
On the first day of school PES students and staff met on the lawn for their first all-school meeting of the year.

On May 2 the entire PES grade-six class went on a college tour of the University of New Hampshire. They visited classrooms, dormitories, Holloway Commons, the Dimond Library, the Hamel Recreation Center, and the Whittemore Center. At the end of the tour they lunched on the lawn in front of Thompson Hall and met with UNH students from Pittsfield.
At Friday’s whole-school morning meeting all classes made pledges to conserve resources and protect the planet. As a culminating activity each grade level passed a hoop around a circle.
