The Pittsfield Secret Santa Fund, sponsored by volunteers at the Fire Department, is accepting applications for those in need of assistance this holiday season. Children must 14 years and younger and a resident of Pittsfield. The Secret Santa Fund relies on the generosity of residents and local businesses eager to help those less fortunate. The Suncook Valley Rotary Club is collecting Clean, new and gently used winter coats to be distributed to those in need in the surrounding communities. The coat drive runs through December 31st. A decorated wreath contest will be held at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration on Sat, Dec. 7 at Dustin Park. Bring your decorated wreath to Pittsfield Youth Workshop by 3:45pm on Sat, Dec. 7. The winner will be chosen by voting by the public. Everyone is welcome to submit an entry.
