Members of the greater Pittsfield Community are invited participate in the Third Annual Mark Jarvis Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament on June 25 at Nippo Lake Golf Club in Barrington, NH. The proceeds from this event will be used to continue a scholarship program for graduating Pittsfield Middle High School seniors who have serious financial need. At the tournament participants will have the chance to win a new Chevy Malibu will be parked with a hole in one.
Mark Jarvis was the Director of Special Education and Student Services and Vice Principal at PMHS for over 30 years. (more…)

PES Art Teacher, Lisa Stevens, is the NH Chairperson for Youth Art Month. Youth Art Month is an annual observance each March to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.
Thanks to our PES family and friends for being such good enthusiastic audiences for our recent concerts. Our children’s performances were outstanding.
During last month’s parent-teacher conferences, teachers conducted an informal two-minute survey with parents on our school’s math program. The goal of the survey, which consisted of a brief interview with follow-up questions, was to see how comfortable parents felt in supporting their children’s math and to explore ways teachers can support parents.
Move Over Famous Artists! Pittsfield Elementary School artists are taking over the spotlight! PES art teacher, Lisa Stevens, has teamed up with Artsonia, www.artsonia.com — the world’s largest online kid’s art museum — to display the students’ artwork.
We are proud to announce that Pittsfield Elementary School’s art educator, Lisa Stevens, has been named the Youth Art Month chairperson for the New Hampshire Art Educators’ Association (NHAEA).
