Awards recognize individuals, businesses, groups and
organizations who have made a positive impact in Pittsfield

The First Congregational Church, 24
Main Street, is celebrating its 225th Anniversary with an
“Open House” Saturday, November 1, 1-4 p.m. It will feature
a self-guided tour of seven stations including the stained
glass windows and 1877 Ricker organ, with docents in period
dress at each. Enter through the main doors in front of the
church. Thanks to Larry Berkson and the Pittsfield
Historical Society, historical artifacts will be on display
including the Bible and top hat of one of our 1789 founders,
Col. John Cram. There are large photographs of our various
church buildings including the wooden church that burned in
1876 to be shared. Also available will be family friendly
crafts and light refreshments. Plan to join in the
celebration! Parking and wheelchair accessible entry are

The Suncook Valley Area
Lions Club (serving Pittsfield and Barnstead) is extending
an open invitation to anyone interested in joining our Club
to join us on Mon., Nov. 10 at 6pm at Jitters Café. Our Club
is expressing its appreciation to ALL Military Personnel for
the sacrifices they have made to preserve our freedom. This
appreciation will be in the form of waiving the initial fee
and the Club will pick up their dues up to July 1, 2015 if
they join on Nov. 10. Light refreshments will be served.

Women's Club is holding their annual Christmas Bazaar on

An "All You Can Eat"
Italian buffet of lasagna, manicotti, stuffed shells, ribs,
buttermilk biscuits, veggie and dessert to benefit the
Floral Park Fence Fund will be held on Friday, Nov. 7 from
4-8pm at Jitters Café. Cost is $11.95 per person (beverages
are an additional cost) and BYOB.
The 12th Annual
Holiday Fair, sponsored by the PMHS Boys Basketball team is
