TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) meetings are held each Tuesday at 5:30pm at Berakah on Fairview Rd for weigh in and at 6:30pm for the meeting. For more information, contact Janis White at 491-5532 or Claire Coll at 435-7211.

The Pittsfield Police Association is sponsoring a Comedy Night Fundraiser and tickets are available NOW. The show is on Sat, Nov22 at 7:30pm at the Dell Lea Country Club, doors open at 6:30pm, show is 21+, cash bar and tickets are $15 each. Please call 435-7535 for more information.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9am at the Senior Center- "Bone Builders" class will be held. This is a free weight training program that is designed to help increase your muscle strength, bone density and balance. Please call the Senior Center at 435-8482 for more information.

Do you want to be anything, or do everything? Come be part of the Girl Scouts. To join, visit Girlscoutsgym.org The cost is only $30 per year. Pittsfield troops do currently have limited space available and Girls are placed on a first come basis. We are looking for Adults willing to make a difference in a girls life by becoming leaders so we can service more girls. For any questions please call Deb at 848-3280.

The PMHS Booster Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 6:30pm at the High School library. Plans for the upcoming Homecoming event will be discussed.

The Suncook Valley Rotary Club will meet on Wed., Sept. 3 at 6pm at the Community Center, lower level.

The PES PTO will meet on Tues, Sept. 2 at 6:30pm at the PES Library.

The Suncook Valley Sno-Riders club will be holding a Mum Sale on Sat, Sept 13 and Sun, Sept 14 from 9-5pm at the Exit Reward Real Estate field at the corner of Rte 28 and River Rd.

Worship services today for the First Congregational Church, 24 Main St., Pittsfield, will be held at the Pittsfield Community Center, 74 Main St., lower level, 10 a.m. Info: pittsfieldcc.com or 435-7471.

The Pittsfield Beautification Committee will holding a Fall Mum sale and bake sale on Sat, Sept. 13 from 8-1pm at the Aranosian Lot (beside Jack's Pizza). 8" mums - $6 and 10" mums- $8 will be sold.

Pittsfield Listens Community Connection meeting will be held on Sept 11 from 6:15-7:30pm at Pittsfield Youth Workshop, 5 Park Street. Community potluck dinner, open to all, kid friendly - come meet your neighbors and get involved. Please RSVP at 312-6980 or info@pittsfieldlistens.org.

The Infant Toddler Diaper Pantry will be open Tuesday, Sept 2 from 9-11 at the First Congregational Church, 24 Main Street. Young families are given supplemental diapers and wipes. Everyone is welcome. Please use the Chestnut Street entrance.

The American Legion Peterson Cram Post 75 will meet on Monday, Sept. 1 at 7:30pm at the Post Home, Loudon Rd. For more information, please call Dan Ward at 496-0848.
