The Pittsfield Players present "Dearly Beloved" on March 27 and 28 at 7:30pm at the Scenic Theatre, Depot Street. Tickets are $12 each and may be purchased by calling the ticket office at 435-8852, through TicketLeap at or at the door the nights of the show.

First Congregational Church, 24 Main Street, Pittsfield, will hold its Palm Sunday Service at 10 a.m. next Sunday, March 29. The service will feature special music by the Chancel Choir and JuBellation Handbell Choir. For more information about any of these services, call the church office at: 435-7471 and speak with Rev. Dave Stasiak or refer to the church’s website:

A special Maundy Thursday worship service will be held Thursday, April 2 at 7pm. Special music will be provided by the Chancel Choir and JuBellation. The service will be preceded by a potluck supper in the Vestry at 6p.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 5 at 7a.m., the customary Sunrise Service will be held in the Sanctuary with breakfast immediately following (about 8 a.m.) in the Vestry. The traditional Easter worship service will commence at 10:00a.m. For more information please call 435-7471 or visit the website:

The Floral Park Cemetery Fence Fund Phase 2 is in full swing. Carole Richardson is organizing this project (independent of the Cemetery Trustees and Town of Pittsfield). Donations are being collected to replace the ugly chain fence with the beautiful black fencing and granite posts. Please consider making a donation- checks may be made payable to "Floral Park Cemetery Fence Fund" and sent to PO Box 98 or 595 Tilton Hill Rd, Pittsfield NH 03263.

An Easter Eggstravaganza, sponsored by the Pittsfield Parks & Recreation Committee, will be held on Sat, April 4 at 9a.m. at Drakes Field by the tennis courts. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt (age levels: 5 and under, 6-8 and 9-12), pictures with the Easter Bunny and a raffle for the Golden Egg. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Community Center.

The Nellie Mae Foundation is requiring PMHS to engage in initiative mapping exercises on Sat, March 28 from 8-4 at the High School. The purpose of the workshop is to identify and assess how well initiatives and established programs are supporting student centered learning. Community members are encouraged to attend.
